Video Projects
In my first year of college, I was placed into an Intro to Film class by my advisor. I was a casual enjoyer of contemporary movies, but had never given much thought to the art and history of cinema. However, this class was the final piece of the puzzle that was what I wanted to do with my life. Film and video is in many ways the perfect blend of all of my interests: photography, writing, journalism and social sciences, and is a medium I hope to pursue professionally in the future.
I am experienced with using both handheld and broadcast cameras for video production, and have practice shooting in both live studio environments and in the field. I have acted as director of photography, writer, camera operator, editor, technical director, set designer and gaffer on a variety of film projects. I am experienced in using Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer for post-production editing, and Broadcast Pix for live editing
Creatures Next Door
Short Narrative
Creatures Next Door was the final project for my first production class, Digital Storytelling. I was the main cinematographer and director of photography for this project. Additionally, I was the editor and the sound designer for the trailer, which was a solo project I decided to create in order to get the editing practice that I had missed during the main project.

Food Allergy News Story
Live Studio Production
The Food Allergy News Story was the best live production I assisted with in our TV Studio Production class. I was the key set designer and gaffer for this project, and also assisted with scriptwriting and research.
